how do secluded mountains
effortlessly reach
the endless sky?
i peer upwards
and wonder
let out a heavy sigh
cautious clouds drift away
will you open up for me?
it takes all of us
to build monuments
that can overtake the trees

-Writing on Waves

A poem on wondering about the magnificent mountains. When I look up at the Rocky Mountains, I cannot describe how massive the rock formations are. Nature builds so effortlessly. We are so little in comparison.

How do you compare? Mount Everest is still 10 times taller than the largest buildings we can make!

It takes all of us to build monuments that can overtake the trees

However, we shouldn’t focus on that sort of comparison. What you should focus on is how you compare to yourself. How do you build opportunities for yourself? How do you build bigger opportunities than before?

My point is to focus on building your own mountains. How do you build your own monuments? That’s not for me to decide for you…
